At about 12:26am, on Thursday, November 11, 2010, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of 22 Fessenden Street. On arrival, officers located a victim, a 35 year-old black male, outside the above mentioned address suffering from what appeared to be a multiple gunshot wounds. The victim, suffering from life threatening injuries, was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was later pronounced.
