At about 11:09pm, on Tuesday, March 16, 2010, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a body found inside 71 Norwell Street. On arrival, officers observed and located a black male in his early twenties suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced.
