Daily Incidents For May 29, 2006

Firearm Arrest at Hildreth and Wildwood StreetsYesterday evening officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force observed a male on a bicycle crossing Morton Street. Upon seeing officers speaking with several male known to them, the suspect turned around and began pedaling away from officers. The suspect jumped off his bike throwing it to ground and began running. Officers observed the suspect attempting to pull something from the right side of his waistband. Officers observed a firearm in the suspect’s right hand as he ran down the street. The suspect stopped and turned towards officers with gun in his hand and tossed the firearm over his head. Officers arrested Keon Monterio, 17, of Quincy for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, Trespassing, Disorderly Person, and Carrying a Loaded Firearm. Officers did recover a firearm where the suspect threw it.
Three People Arrested for Trespassing
Last night around 8:24pm officers in District 2 responded to a radio call for Guns and Drugs at 18 Dewey Street. On arrival officers smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from inside of the apartment. Officers spoke with individuals inside of address and determined that the owner was not home and no one could produce documents verifying that they lived there. One of the suspects stated it was his uncle’s house and that he was out of town. The suspect was unable to reach the owner. Jose Andino, 31, Andino Samuel Galindez, 27, both of Roslindale, and Rafael Soto, 34, of Jamaica Plain were all arrested and charged with Trespassing
Two Men Arrested For Affray
This morning around 1:43am officers in District 6 responded to the intersection of 2nd and N Streets in South Boston for a Fight. On arrival officers observed a group of about 20 white males leaving the park at that location. When the officers circled the block they observed two males arguing and a fist fighting ensued. Officers had to physically intervene to separate the parties. Alan Coveney, 17, Brian Ferris, 18, both of South Boston was arrested and charged with Affray.
Two People arrested on Warrants
Yesterday evening officers in District 3 on random patrol arrested William Laguerre, 24, of Dorchester on an outstanding warrant for Home Invasion. Early this morning officers also arrested Rhoshone Anderson, 33, of Mattapan on an outstanding warrant for Possession Of A Firearm without FID Card.
