Daily Incidents for April 17, 2006

Shots Fired Leads To One Person ArrestedOfficers in District 11 responded to a radio call for shots fired at Mt Everett Street and Hamilton Street at 4:23pm yesterday. On arrival officers heard about 6-10 shots and observed a black motor scooter with two passengers leaving the scene brandishing what appears to be a black firearm. After brief chase officers were able apprehend Rickey Jones, 20, of Dorchester. He was placed under arrest and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. The second suspect is still at large.
Mirror Mirror Not On The Wall
Yesterday afternoon, about 4:50pm Officers in District 15, responded to a radio call for a Breaking and Entering at 18 Tuft Street. On arrival officers spoke with victim who stated that she returned home to find her bedroom window open. Victim stated that a mirror was missing from her son’s bedroom wall. No other items were reported stolen at this time.
Person Stabbed at 23 Bradlee Street
Officers from District 3 responded last night around 9:58 pm to 23 Bradlee Street for a person stabbed. On arrival officers observed, the victim, a 21-year-old female bleeding from her right arm and the left side of her face. The victim stated she was having an argument with another resident of the rooming house. The victim stated that 2 people who were visiting another residence in the building attacked her. Victim further stated that she was stabbed, kicked, punched and bitten by these two people. The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center and treated for her injuries. Victim was unable to identify the weapon that was used. Atikia Mikell, 23 of Roxbury and Tamara Rhodes, 32 of Roxbury were placed under arrest and charged with Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon.
