On Tuesday February 21, at 9:40am, Boston Police Officers from District 1 responded to 101 Merrimac Street for a pedestrian struck by a car. The officers located a male victim, later identified as 66-year-old Frank Boblak of Franklin, suffering from head trauma. The victim was taken from the scene to Massachusetts General Hospital. Investigators were looking for a white female driving a tan colored SUV possibly a Lexus or Infinity who may have had information about the incident.The victim succumbed to his injuries yesterday afternoon and the operator of the tan colored SUV has made herself known to the police. Her vehicle is now in the custody of investigators and the case is ongoing.
