Officers from across the Boston Police Department were proud to celebrate with the YMCA for Healthy Kids Day across the City
Officers from District A-7 joined neighbors and community partners at the East Boston YMCA, where youth spent time painting with officers, sharing neighborhood happenings, and getting an inside look at some BPD vehicles.
Meanwhile, officers from District D-4 celebrated at the YMCA on Huntington Avenue by playing games like Connect-4, talking with youth about life as a BPD officer, and handing out some BPD swag.
District E-5, along with the Bomb Squad Unit and K-9 Unit, also joined the celebration at the West Roxbury YMCA, where attendees had the opportunity to ask questions and check out specialized units and equipment up close.
It was a great day connecting with our young community members and promoting healthy, active lifestyles!
