At about 3:15 PM on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, officers assigned to District C-6 (South Boston) made an onsite warrant arrest of Michael Thomas, 32, of Dorchester, in the area of Preble Street and Old Colony Avenue. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on outstanding warrants sought out of Suffolk Superior Court for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, and Dorchester District Court for Unarmed Robbery.
The suspect had been recently highlighted on a BPD Most Wanted List and is expected to appear in Boston Municipal Court for arraignment.
