At about 11:57am, on Wednesday, March 23, 2011, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for an assault and battery in the area of 60 Clifton Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers spoke to the victim who stated that he was walking along Clifton Street when the suspect approached him and asked him why he was walking down his street. According to the victim, the suspect picked up a brick and threw it at him. The victim further stated that the brick struck him in the head. Officers observed a laceration on the top of the victim’s head. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center for further evaluation.
Officers located and arrested Sebastio Barros, 49, of Roxbury and charged him with Assault & Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon.
