On Thursday, March 24, 2011 at approximately 3:09pm, officers from District B-3 (Dorchester) responded to Norfolk and Whitman Streets in Dorchester for a person shot. On arrival, officers located an 18-year old male suffering from gunshot wounds.  The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center by EMS with life threatening injuries where he was later pronounced deceased.
