VICTIM IDENTIFIED

At about 7:46am, on Tuesday, February 8, 2011, officers from District E-13 (Jamaica Plain) responded to 21 Kenney Street for a found body. On arrival, officers located a female victim suffering from what appeared to be a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced on scene by EMS. The victim has since been identified Brenda Pawlowski, 49, of Boston.

Boston Police Homicide detectives are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. The Boston Police Homicide Unit urges anyone with information to please contact detectives at (617) 343-4470.
