Two High School Students Arrested for Assault

Yesterday afternoon, officers from District A-7 (east Boston) arrested suspect, Andrea Angulo, 17 of East Boston and a 15-year old juvenile female also of East Boston and charged them with Assault and Battery by Means of a dangerous Weapon, and Unarmed Robbery.

Officers responded to 26 Marion St. in East Boston for a robbery and assault in progress. On arrival, officers found a 16-year old victim who had been assaulted and robbed of her phone by  two suspects who are known to her. The victim reported that she was walking home from school when she was attacked by the suspects because of some ongoing negative comments that had been exchanged between them over the last couple of weeks.

The victim reported that the suspects attacked her from behind by pulling her hair, and punching her and before she was knocked to the ground and repeatedly kicked. The victim stated that after she was knocked to the ground she was robbed of her cell phone. A witness was able to confirm the victim’s version of what occurred.

Officers drove around the block and located the suspects who were stopped and positively identified by the victim.
