A Letter from Captain John Davin to B-2 Business Owners

Attention Business Owners,

In wake of the recent tragic event in the Uphams Corner Neighborhood and an increase in store robberies throughout the City of Boston, the Boston Police Department, Area B, District 2 Community Service Office is inviting you the owner or a representative from your business to attend a special meeting to share Convenience/Business Store Robbery Prevention Tips and the organization of a Grove Hall Business Crime Watch Association (GHBCWA).

A crime watch association is an excellent way to keep in contact and network on issues specific to doing business in your community. It is also a way to build and maintain lasting crime-prevention partnerships between the Boston Police Department and local businesses. By cooperating with each other and the police, crime can be fought in the most effective way with education and information.

Crime Prevention is everybody’s business and improves the quality of life for the community, its business, and its residents. So come joins us and share your concerns. The meeting is scheduled for:

Date: Tuesday, March 23, 2010

Time: 6:30 pm

Location: Grove Hall Community Center

 Sincerely,

Captain John Davin
