At about 12:49am, on Saturday, September 19, 2009, officers from Area D-14 (Brighton) responded to a radio call for an unknown trauma in the area of Commonwealth Ave and Walbridge Street. On arrival, officers located a 23 year-old male lying unconscious on the sidewalk in front of 5 Walbridge Street. The victim was transported to the Beth Israel Hospital where he was later pronounced.Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was injured as a result of an accidental fall.
