Man In Critical Condition After Being Stabbed Multiple TimesOn Saturday, September 5, 2009, at approximately 1:35am, Boston Police Officers, assigned out of Area C-11 (Dorchester), responded to 57 Davidson Street for a report of a stabbing.
Officers arrived on-scene and located a 25 year-old, male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds in front of 57 Davidson Street. Boston EMS was treating the victim and he was transported to Boston Medical Center. He is currently listed in critical condition.
Officer’s initial investigation showed the suspect was stabbed at another location. Evidence led them to the area of Inwood Street. Several witnesses were located and interviewed. Officers learned the victim was involved in a physical altercation with another male with a knife. The perpetrator was located and identified.
Officers arrested Jerome Higgins, 30, of Dorchester on the charges of Assault & Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon (knife).
