DAILY INCIDENTS FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 23, 2009

HIT-N-RUN SUSPECT ARRESTED IN THE SOUTH ENDAt about 3:43am, on Sunday, August 23, 2009, officers from Area D-4 (South End) responded to a motor vehicle accident in the area of Washington Street and Herald Street. On arrival, officers spoke to the operator (herein after referred to as the victim) of one of the motor vehicles involved in the accident who stated that the other car took off. According to the victim, he was driving along Washington Street towards Herald Street when he was struck by the other motor vehicle. The victim further says that when he exited his car to inspect the damage, the operator of the other car took off. Officers observed damage to the driver side of the car. The victim was able to provide officers with a partial license plate of the other car.
With assistance from Longwood Security personnel, officers were able to locate the 2nd car. When officers approached the operator and asked him about the accident, the operator admitted to having been involved in an accident, but stated, “I spoke to the guy but he didn’t want to exchange papers.”
Officers arrested and charged Matt Mysliwicz, 27, of Quincy with Leaving the Scene of the Accident (Personal Injury & Property Damage).
BAD BOYFRIEND NO EXCUSE FOR BAD BEHAVIOR
At about 4:25am, on Sunday, August 23, 2009, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan) responded to a radio call for a disturbance in the area of 116 West Selden Street. On arrival, officers spoke to a woman who stated that she found her boyfriend hanging out with another woman. Upon seeing the two together, the woman (herein after referred to as the suspect) located her boyfriend’s car and began damaging the car with a sledge hammer. Officers observed damage to the boyfriend’s headlights and windshields.
Officers arrested Monoya Saunders, 29, of Boston and charged her with the Willful and Malicious Destruction of Property (Over $250.00).
