Maintenance Man Arrested for Breaking and EnteringYesterday around 3:31PM, officers from District D-14 (Allston and Brighton) arrested suspect, Timothy Hann, 31, of Allston and charged with Breaking and Entering in the Daytime.
Officers initially responded to a radio call for a person with a knife at 65 Franklin St. in Allston. On arrival, officers encountered the suspect, a maintenance man for the above address. Officers then spoke to the victim who stated that she was in her apartment giving her child a bath when she heard a loud bang which she reported was the maintenance man kicking in her door. The victim stated that when she went to investigate, she observed the maintenance in her living room. The victim stated that when she confronted the suspect in her living room, he started screaming at her calling her derogatory names. The victim’s husband hearing the commotion came out of the bedroom and a verbal argument ensued between the two. The suspect, after that, left the apartment and while walking through the hallway kept yelling and challenging tenants to come outside, fight him and settle their issues.
Officers then spoke to the suspect who had a strong odor of alcohol about him. The suspect reported to officers that he had gone to the victim’s apartment to do some work when he was confronted by the victim’s husband who chased him out of the apartment with a knife. Officers then spoke to witnesses who reported that they saw the suspect in the victim’s house but never saw any weapons in either tenants hand but heard the victims yelling for the suspect to get out of their house. Officers then inspected the door and noted that there were marks on the door consistent with someone having kicked in the door along with a broken door handle.
As a result of the facts gathered and witness testimony, officers arrested the suspect and charged him with Breaking and Entering in the Daytime.
Detail Officers Arrest B&E Suspect
Last night around 10:20PM, officers were performing a detail at the intersection of Franklin and Arch Streets when they were approached by male who exclaimed to officers that the male he was following just broke into his car.
Several detail officers pursued the suspect who fled after the victim approached officers. Officers eventually caught the suspect several blocks away and placed him under arrest after a brief struggle. The suspect was transported to the district station for booking and during transport officers located a “punch tool” an item commonly used as a burglarious tool.
Officers then further interviewed the victim and he reported that he was inside his restaurant when he was informed that the suspect had just broken into his truck and stolen his GPS unit. The victim stated that he followed the suspect and observed him try to sell his GPS unit to a passing car. The victim reported he attempted to stop the transaction when the suspect threw the unit in the car and ran away. Officers recovered the GPS unit and returned to the scene, and observed the window to the victim’s car to be broken. The suspect, Jonathan B. Holcomb, 31 of West Roxbury was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering a Motor Vehicle, Larceny from a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of a Burglarious Tools.

This morning around 1:57AM, officers from District C-11 (Dorchester) arrested suspects, Ayrton Tavares, 20, of Dorchester, Emanuel F. Pires, 20, of Roxbury, and Guemilson M. Ribero, 18, of Dorchester and charged them all with Breaking and Entering in the Night. In addition, suspect, Pires was charged with Possession of Class D.
Officers initially responded to 35 Rosemont Rd. in Dorchester for a breaking and entering in progress. There, officers received a description of the suspect who had been observed in the victim’s basement along with a description of another male with whom the suspect had fled the area on a bicycle. Officers, while searching the area, observed three individuals on bicycles in the area with one matching the description of the suspect that the victim had seen in her basement. Two of the suspects were immediately stopped while the third fled pursued by officers. The third suspect was eventually stopped after a lengthy foot pursuit.
Officers then returned to the scene and spoke to the victim who reported that she was in her home when she observed one the three apprehended suspects walk up the driveway to her house and enter her basement. The victim then stated that when she went to her basement, the suspect fled. The victim positively identified one of the suspects as having been the one she saw in her basement, but all three were arrested for joint venture breaking and entering.
