Death Investigation at 24 Seaver Street

At about 12:30am on Wednesday, July 23, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 24 Seaver St.On arrival, officers and EMS personnel located the victim, a black male believed to be in his thirties, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the sidewalk in front of the above reported address. The victim was transported by ambulance to Brigham and Women’s Hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Officers then located a second gunshot victim in his late teens, who self-applied to Boston Medical Center. He was suffering from a non-life threatening injury to the hand. At this time, detectives believe that both victims were shot inside an apartment at 24 Seaver Street. The teenage victim has been uncooperative with investigators.
