Today the Boston Police Fugitive and Apprehension Team arrested the individual responsible for yesterday’s shooting on Devon Street in Roxbury.Information developed by Boston Police detectives led to the swift arrest of William Terrell Hart, 22, of Brockton. He has been charged with Assault with Intent to Murder, Aggravated Assault, Assault and Battery by Means of a Dangerous Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Ammunition, and Unlawfully Carrying a Loaded Firearm on a Public Way.
Incident Description:
On Wednesday July 9, 2008 at about 4:24pm, officers from District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 103 Devon St., Roxbury. Upon arrival, officers observed a 25-year-old black male lying on his back in the driveway of 103 Devon St. The victim stated that he had been shot, and that the suspect had fled the scene on foot. The victim was then transported to Boston Medical Center, where doctors deemed that he is in serious condition.
