At about 2:27pm, on Friday, October 12, 2007, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan/Dorchester) responded to a radio call for shots fired at 19 School Street. While en route to the to the call, officers were re-routed to 22 Thane Street. On arrival, officers located an individual suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. That individual was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries.The Boston Police Department is actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.
