At about 9:55pm, on Sunday, August 19, 2007, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan/North Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a person shot at 46 Gladeside Avenue. On arrival, officers located four individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. One of the victims, a black female, was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where she later succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced.In addition to the above, the remaining three victims were transported to area hospitals where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.
