At about 11:24pm, on Saturday, August 4, 2007, officers from Area B-3 (Mattapan/Dorchester) responded to a radio call for a man being chased by another man with a knife in the area of 70 Itasca Street in Mattapan. On arrival, officers located an individual suffering from a stab wound. That individual, a black male in his 40’s, was immediately transported to the Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced.Officers were also able to locate the individual responsible for the stabbing. Officers arrested James Miskel, 42, of Dorchester and charged him with Murder.
