The contest theme was “Unity Through Community.” The Neighborhood Crime Watch Unit believes that the key to safer neighborhoods lies in cooperation among neighbors, police, businesses, churches, and community based organizations. If we as residents continue to reach out and watch out for each other, neighbor-to-neighbor, both young and old, we can and will make this a better city to live in, work in and enjoy.
