At approximately 3:00am this morning, officers responded to a motor vehicle accident at Blue Hill Ave. and Calendar Street. The vehicle was occupied by four individuals. One victim was pronounced on scene and three additional occupants which included two minor children were rushed to the hospital and are in critical condition. The BPD Homicide Unit along with BPD accident reconstruction specialist are on the scene investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding this incident.TRAFFIC ALERT: Due to the accident, traffic has been diverted away from portions of Blue Hill Ave. Currently Blue Hill Ave. inbound from Morton St. to Talbot Ave. is closed. Officers have re-routed traffic to Harvard St. Commuters should be advised of major delays and encouraged to seek an alternative route.
