At about 3:22am, on Saturday, July 21, 2007, officers from Area B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for shots fired in the area of Woodledge Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was immediately transported to Boston Medical Center where he later succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced.The victim has been identified as Samuel Docanto, 21, of Dorchester.
