Drugs Found Stashed in HideOn Friday, July 20, 2007 at 9:27pm, members from the Drug Control Unit from District B-2 conducted a drug investigation at Humboldt Avenue and Seaver Street. Officers observed the suspect and an unknown individual in an exchange in which the unknown individual male began counting money while standing at the passenger side of the vehicle. After the transaction the suspect entered his vehicle and drove out of the parking lot and proceeded onto Seaver Street. Officers with their collective training and experience combine with the brief encounter and actions of the suspect officers believed they observed a drug transaction.
Officers conducted a traffic stop and Blue Hill Avenue and Seaver Street. Ramon Sosa, 33, of Roslindale and Amarillis Serrano, 27, of East Boston were arrested and charged with Trafficking Class B within 1000ft of a School Zone and Trafficking Class B. Officers did recover over 200grams of cocaine and U.S. Currency from a hide in the vehicle.
Armed Robbery of Convenience Store
Yesterday morning around 12:00am, officers from District D-4 responded to a radio call for an armed robbery at the Lil Peach located at 252 West Newton Street. On arrival, officers spoke with victim who stated that at the time of incident he was working the register in the front of the store when two black males entered the store with their faces covered. Officers were informed that one of the suspects’s jumped over the counter while the second suspect stayed in front of the register and pointed the firearm in the direction of the victim. The suspect ordered the victim to open the register. The suspect removed cash from the register. The suspect walked around the counter and both suspect fled the store heading towards Massachusetts Avenue.
Armed Robbery of Business
Yesterday at 4:08pm, officer from District E-18 responded to a radio call for an armed robbery at the Domino’s Pizza at 695 Truman Parkway. Officers immediately canvassed the area for a white male wearing a khaki hat, light blue shirt, and dark blue pants with a white strip. Officers spoke to the clerk who stated that the suspect entered the store and ordered a pizza and then stated he was going next door to buy a drink. The clerk further who state that when the suspect returned he pulled out a handgun and demanded money. The suspect reached over the counter and grabbed cash from the register. The suspect fled with undetermined amount of cash.
Confirmed Shooting on Talbot Avenue
Last night at 10:19pm, officers from District C-11 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 380 Talbot Avenue. On arrival, officers located a 21-year-old male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center for treatment for non-life threatening injuries.
Two Arrested in Stolen Vehicle
Last night at 10:5pm, officers assigned to the Bowdoin Street and Geneva Avenue Safe Street Team were advised that a stolen car was observed at Dorchester Avenue and Melville Avenue. Officers observed the vehicle and performed a traffic stop at 225 Bowdoin Street. Wayne Fluker, 42, of Brockton was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Motor Vehicle. Arthur Flood, 37, of Dorchester was arrested and charged with Receiving Stolen Motor Vehicle and Operating After Revocation or Suspension.
