Three Suspect Arrested after RobberyLast night at 9:32pm, officers from District E-13 observed three individuals walking along Centre Street near the intersection of Centre Street and South Huntington Avenue. The three individuals were looking around and appeared to be following an unknown male. The three individuals then had a conversation with the unknown male in front of the 7-11 store. A short time later the three individuals and the victim left the front of the store and walked down South Huntington Avenue towards Barbara Street.
At that time officers observed one of the suspects running down Barbara Street. Officers pulled onto Barbara Street and observed the victim lying in the middle of Barbara Street on his back and the suspects running from the area. The victim stated he was robbed of his black bag and pushed to the ground and kicked by two black males. Officers observed the suspects standing on the front porch of 36 Perkins Street. Officers also observed one of the suspects drop a black bag on the front porch.
Deni Paynter, 19, of Jamaica Plain, 15 and 16 year-old juvenile males both of Jamaica Plain were arrested and charged with Unarmed Robbery and Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon.
Breaking and Entering Suspect Refuses to Leave
Yesterday at 12:20pm, a victim of a larceny flagged officers from District D-14 while on patrol. The victim further stated that the suspect was still on scene. Officers observed the suspect standing inside the font-gated area of 10 Lincoln Street. The victims stated that the suspect entered the apartment by opening the unlocked front door. Once inside the apartment the suspect entered the living room and removed a cell phone that was located on the coffee table. The occupants noticed the cell phone missing and asked the suspect to leave the premise. The suspect refused to leave the property inside the front gate of Lincoln Street. The victim’s stated they knew the suspect from the past and that he would drop by their apartment from time to time looking for food.
Officers asked the suspect several time to step out from behind the gated area and onto the sidewalk several times with no response. After several verbal commands the suspect finally came out to officers and was arrested. Brondly Thomas, 30, of Boston was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering of a Dwelling with intent to commit a Felony.
Shoplifter Arrested Wearing Stolen Items
Yesterday at 1:33pm, officers from District C-11 responded to a radio call for a person with a knife at 500 Geneva Avenue. On arrival, officers spoke with the victim a loss prevention employee at AJ Wright, who stated that she confronted a shoplifter as she was leaving the store with merchandise and the suspect threatened her with a knife.
The victim stated she observed the suspect wearing pink head wrap, pink shirt and blue jean short and bright blue shoes and two other females place items into an Old Navy bag and try to exit the store.
At that point the victim approached the three suspects and requested to see what was in their bag. The suspect became irate and stated “your not gonna get your stuff back”. At that time the suspect pulled away and reached into her pocketbook and stated, “I will cut you”. At that time the victim stepped back and the suspect fled. The victim stated the suspect fled in a cab up Park Street towards Washington Street.
As officers were exiting the store the cab returned and the driver agreed to show officers where he dropped the females off. Officers were directed to the area of Whitfield Street and found the suspect standing on the front porch. The victim positively identified the suspect. The suspect was wearing a blue tank top and G unit shorts that were stolen fro the AJ Wright at the time of her arrest.
Nikki Deen, 25, of Dorchester was arrested and charged with Shoplifting and Assault by means of a Dangerous Weapon.
