Loud Music Call Ends in a Firearm ArrestLast night at 11:02pm, officers from District B-3 (Mattapan) responded to radio call for a loud music at 45 Peacevale Road. On arrival, officers observed several males drinking from cups and beer bottles. Officers further observed one individual who was standing on the sidewalk holding an open bottle of beer immediately grab his waist and turn away from the rest of the group and walk towards the house. Officers observed the suspect bend down and place his beer bottle on the ground with his left hand never moving his right hand form his waist. Officers attempted to conduct a threshold inquiry. At that time the suspect turned and proceeded to discard what appeared to be a silver and black firearm. Jabari Horsley, 27, of Dorchester was arrested and charges with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of a loaded Firearm and Drinking Alcohol Beverages in Public. Officers did recover a firearm from the suspect.
“Just Chillin”
This morning around 12:38am, officers from District E-18 (Hyde Park) were on patrol on Hebron Street and observed a red motor vehicle that was occupied by four black males. As officers drove by they could smell a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the vehicle, which was parked on Hebron Street. Officers questioned the suspect as to what they were doing hanging out inside the vehicle. The suspect replied, “We are just chillin”. When asked about the strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the car, the suspect stated that he did not know of any marijuana. A 15-year-old juvenile male from Mattapan was arrested and charged with Possession of Class B. Officers did recover drugs from the suspect.
Person Stabbed in Allston
At 2:07am this morning, officers from District D-14 (Brighton/Allston) responded to St Elizabeth Hospital on a report of a walk in stab victim. On arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated while outside Tonic Bar at 1316 Commonwealth Avenue he was stabbed. The victim stated that he attempted to break up a fight when an unknown black male dressed in all black pulled out a knife and attempted to stab the other combatants involved in the argument. The victim stated at that time he was stabbed in the leg. Officers went back to the scene and spoke with the doorman who stated that a black male fitting that description was escorted out of the bar for arguing with his friends. The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
