Breaking and Entering Suspect ArrestedYesterday morning at 10:32am, officers from District A-7 responded to a radio call for a breaking and entering in progress at 447 Frankfort Street. On arrival, officers spoke with victim who stated that she was sleeping in her bedroom when she heard a cracking sound as if someone was breaking into the front door. The victim stated she got out of bed and ran to the front door to see what was going on. The victim observed a white male wearing a grey t-shirt, blue jeans white sneakers with a screwdriver in hand outside her front door. The suspect fled on foot towards the cemetery when he heard the victim at the door. Officers observed the suspect walking back to the scene of the crime. Robert Forsyth, 52, of Jamaica Plain was arrested and charged with Attempted Breaking and Entering, Possession of Burglarious Tools and Possession of Class D.
Person Shot in Dorchester
Last night around 9:46pm, officers from District B-3 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 511 Norfolk Street. On arrival, officers observed the victim being attended to by Boston EMS. The victim stated he heard one shot and then felt a sharp pain to his right arm. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for a non-life threatening injury.
Confirmed Shooting at Tremont and Stuart Streets
This morning around 5:06am, officers from District A-1 responded to a radio call for a person shot at Tremont and Stuart Streets. On arrival, officers located a male victim in his early twenties suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Mass General Hospital and is in critical condition.

Suspect Caught in the Act
This morning at 5:32am, officers from District A-7 responded to a radio call for a male trying to get into the St Lazarus Church at Ashley and Breed Streets. On arrival, officers observed the grate that was covering a basement window had been removed and that the window was broken. At that time offices observed the suspect exit out of the side door and upon seeing the officers the suspect ran back inside and shut the door. Officers found the door locked and immediately set up a perimeter and were waiting for a canine unit to arrive. A 16-year-old male juvenile of East Boston was arrested and charged with Breaking and entering a Building with Intent to Commit a Felony and Destruction or Injury of Personal Property.
