On March 28, 2007 at 5:22pm, officers From District 3 (Mattapan) responded to 870 Blue Hill Avenue for a report of a person shot. On arrival, officers located James Williams, 24, of Dorchester at the corner of Blue Hill Avenue and Talbot Avenue suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Mr. Williams was transported to Boston Medical center where he succumbed to his injuries.The Boston Police Homicide Unit is currently investigating this incident and we urge anyone with information relevant to this incident to contact the Homicide Unit at (617) 343-4470 or remain anonymous by calling the Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-494-TIPS.
