On Friday, March 9, 2007, at approximately 1:30pm, officers from District C-11 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 72 Olney Street in Dorchester. On arrival, officers located a black female suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. After being transported to Boston Medical Center, the victim, Quinntessa Blackwell, 18, of Dorchester, succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced.The Homicide Unit is investigating this incident.
