This evening at about 6:05pm, officers from District 18 responded to 631 Cummins Highway in Roslindale on a report of a person shot. On arrival the officers located two individuals suffering from gunshot wounds. Victim #1, a 14-year-old male, sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was transported by Boston EMS to the Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced. The second victim was also transported to the Boston Medical Center Pediatric Unit where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.Homicide Detectives are urging people that were in the area, or riding on an M.B.T.A. bus, at the time of the shooting, and have any information about a black male wearing a gold or yellow hooded jacket, to contact them at 617-343-4470 or remain anonymous by calling the Crime Stoppers tip line at 800-494-TIPS.
