Suspect Arrested for Shooting on Horan WayYesterday officers in District 13 arrested Aaron James Terrell Boyd, 17, of Roxbury on a warrant out of Suffolk Superior Court for Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon (gun) and Assault with Intent to Murder. Boyd will be arraigned on Tuesday in Superior Court.
On June 15, 2006 at 11:15pm, officers in District 13 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 26 Horan Way. On arrival officers observed the victim, a 17 year-old black male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was treated by Boston EMS and transported to an area hospital where he is being treated for a non-life threatening injuries.
Business Robbed at Knifepoint
Last night around 7:21pm, officers in District 11 responded to a radio call for an armed robbery at 110 Savin Hill Avenue. On arrival officers spoke with the victim, who stated a dark skin black male wearing a facemask carrying knife demanded money. The victim stated that the suspect demanded money while banging the knife on the counter. While the victim was emptying the cash draw the suspect took the draw out and fled down Sydney Street.
Person Shot in Dorchester
This morning around 2:13am, officers in District 3 responded to a radio call for shots fired at 150 Norwell Street. Prior to arrival officers were updated that a person was shot at 6 Millet Street. Officers located a black male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The victim stated he was walking on Harvard Street when an unknown person began shooting. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center and treated for a non-life threatening injury.
