Last night at about 11:00pm, Larry Taylor, 54, of Dorchester was placed under arrest at District 4 and charged with Leaving the Scene of a Motor Vehicle Accident Resulting in the Death of a Person. He will be arraigned today in the Boston Municipal Court. Taylor was wanted for the incident that occurred on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at approximately 9:39am, when officers from District 4 responded to the intersection of Warren St. and Dartmouth St. in the South End for a report of a pedestrian struck. There, officers located Linda Cruz, 57, of Dorchester lying in the street. The victim was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital where she was later pronounced.
