It Wasn’t O.U.I. …But He Still Was ArrestedYesterday afternoon around 12:45pm, an officer assigned to the Downtown Crossing observed Victor Belgrave, 51,of Dorchester riding his bike on Washington Street drinking a beer. The officer attempted to stop the suspect but he fled. Belgrave was eventually stopped by another officer on Hawley Street where he was arrested for Resisting Arrest and Drinking in Public.
Fugitive Arrested in Brighton
Officers from District 14 were patrolling in the area of Delaware Place when they observed Jesus Felix Da Silva, 51, riding a bicycle at about 4:30pm yesterday. The officers observed that the suspect has similar physical similarities to someone wanted for a crime earlier that day. A threshold inquiry was conducted and the officer discovered that United States Immigration wanted the suspect on an administrative warrant of removal. The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with being a Fugitive from Justice.
Vehicle From Pennsylvania Broken into in Brighton
On Saturday morning a male entered District 14 to report that someone broke into his mothers car in the area of Washington Street and Malbert Road. The victim’s son told police that an unknown person broke the drivers side window, opened the hood of the car, and disconnected the battery. The victim also handed a note to police that was found in the car apologizing for breaking the window and further stating the horn was blowing for two hours.
Three Arrested in Mattapan School Yard
At about 11:00pm on Saturday, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force patrolling in the area of the Mattahunt School on Hebron Street observed three individuals sitting on a wall in the schoolyard. One of the three individuals turned to his side and dropped an object to the ground. The officers approached the suspects and smelled the aroma of fresh burnt marijuana. Police arrested the three for trespassing as the school was posted “No Trespassing”. One suspect was also found to be in possession of a bag of marijuana and seven smaller packaged bags of the drug as well as the burnt marijuana cigarette found next to the wall. A motor vehicle was parked next to the three where an officer observed a firearm in the passenger area. All three were transported to District 3. Isiah Robinson, 18, of Roslindale is charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Ammunition, Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D drugs within 1000’ of a School, and Possession with Intent to Distribute; Marlon Francois, 20, of Mattapan is charged with Trespassing; and Muller Cadet, 20, of Mattapan is charged with Trespassing and Possession of Class D. All three will be arraigned in the Dorchester District Court tomorrow morning.
Two Sinners Arrested At Saint
Officers from District 4 responded to 90 Exeter Street this morning on a report of a person with a knife. On arrival the officers spoke with the victim who stated that suspect Justin Petit, 32, of Burlington approached the victim to complain about the lack of respect he received from the bartenders at the club (Saint). The victim told Petit to calm down when he grabbed the victim’s shirt and attempted to punch the victim. While Petit was being removed from the bar, suspect Justin Kingston, 28, of Woburn pulled a knife from his pocket demanding that his friend be let go. Both suspects fled the club and were later apprehended by police in the area. The suspects were transported back to the club where they were positively identified by the victim and witnesses. A knife was recovered from Kingston who is charged with Assault by Means of a Dangerous Weapon. Petit is charged with Disorderly conduct and Assault and Battery. Both will be arraigned in the Boston Municipal Court.
Charlestown Resident Stabbed in Thompson Square
This morning around 3:00am, officers from District 15 responded to the area of 140 Main Street on a report of a person stabbed. According to a witness the 23-year-old male victim and an unknown suspect were having a verbal argument about the victim’s jacket. The suspect, who was armed with a knife, pushed the suspect and them fled in a vehicle. The victim then discovered he had been stabbed. He was transported to the Massachusetts General Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The suspect remains at large.
