Person Shot at 14 Hyde Park AvenueThis morning around 1:09am, officers in District 18 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 14 Hyde Park Avenue. On arrival officers located a victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Brigham and Women’s Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Officers did recover ballistic evidence at the scene.
Loud Party Lands Seven in Jail
This morning around 1:30am, officers in District 2 responded to 1516 Tremont Street for a report of a person with a gun at a party. On arrival officers could hear loud music coming from 1516 Tremont Street. Officers also observed people exiting the building and gathering on the sidewalk. As officers were dispersing the crowd inside many of the party- goers exited the building and began fighting on the sidewalk. Cindy Goncalves, 21, of Roxbury was arrested and charged with Procuring Alcohol for Minors, Disturbing the peace and Disorderly. Heather Monteiro, 19, Emily Debarros, 19, and Tiffany Martinez, 20, all of Roxbury were arrested charged with disturbing the peace, Disorderly, Possession of Alcoholic Beverages by persons under 21. Alyssa Monteiro, 19, and Sheila Alves, 19, both of Amherst were arrested and charged with disturbing the Peace. Keith Cobb, 20, of Boston was arrested charged with Resisting Arrest and Disturbing the Peace.
Person Stabbed in Brighton
This morning around 2:16am, officers in District 14 responded to a radio call for a walk-in stabbing victim at St Elizabeth Hospital. On arrival officers located a victim suffering from a stabbed wound to his left hand. The victim stated to officers that he was stabbed during and altercation on Reedsdale Road near Brighton Avenue. The victim stated when he attempted to separate the fight he was stabbed by one of the suspects. The victim was treated for a non-life threatening injury.
