Victim Shot in Vehicle in South Street AreaLast night at about 11:33pm, officers from District 1 responded to a call for shots fired which was then upgrade to a person shot in the area of Kneeland and South Streets. On arrival officers observed Boston EMS treating a 24-year-old victim of a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the Massachusetts General Hospital where he was treated for non-life threatening injuries. According to witnesses, the victim was shot in a vehicle, which he fell out of and it then ran him over. Police are still searching for the suspect.
Male Arrested after Urinating on Police Station
Officers from District 14 arrested Samuel Nessenthaler, 19, who resides in Brighton, after they observed him urinating on the front of the building at 301 Washington Street (District 14) at about 12:50pm. Nessenthaler will be arraigned Monday morning in the Brighton District Court where he will be charged with being a Disorderly Person.
West Roxbury Stabbing Victim in Stable Condition
A 28-year-old male from West Roxbury reported to police that he was walking on Washington Street and Ridgecrest Street at about 12:19 this morning when an unknown male approached him and asked for a cigarette. The suspect then stabbed the victim in the chest area. The suspect fled the area while the victim was transported to the Brigham and Woman’s Hospital where he is in stable condition.
Charlestown Resident Robbed on Green Street
This morning at 1:17am, officers from District 15 responded to High and Green Streets on a report of a robbery. On arrival the officers spoke with the victim who stated that a teenage male approached her from behind and grabbed her pocketbook. The suspect fled on foot toward the Bunker Hill Projects and remains at large.
Connecticut Man Arrested at Fenway Park
During last nights Red Sox game, an officer assigned to Fenway Park working a paid detail observed Red Sox employees engaged in a struggle near the section 18 ramp. Suspect James O’Connor, 20, of Connecticut, was swinging his arms around in an uncontrollable manner striking anyone in his direction. After a brief struggle, the suspect was placed under arrest. According to witnesses at the game, the suspect was standing on his chair being loud and disruptive. He continued to bang on his chair causing its bolts to pop off. Armed with the bolts, O’Connor threw them hitting a woman from Maine in the face. She along with three Red Sox employees were all treated for their injuries. O’Connor will be arraigned in the Roxbury District Court where he will be charged with Assault and Battery (Injuries), Assault and Battery on a Police Officer, Resisting Arrest, Disturbing a Public Assembly, and Destruction of Personal Property.
Victim Treated for Non-Life Threatening Stab Wounds on Seaver Street
Officers from District 2 responded to 331 Seaver Street last night at 11:10pm for a report of a stabbing. The 40-year-old victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was treated for multiple stab wounds. The suspect remains at large.
