Daily Incidents for July 23, 2006

Brighton Brawl Lands Four in JailOfficers on patrol observed a group of people in the street watching a fight between four males in the area of Commonwealth Avenue and Allston Street at 2:38am this morning. Officers called for back up and were able to restore peace. John Comley, 24, Ralph Connor, 24, Ibrahim Salah, 26, and Aly Salah, 23, all of Brighton were arrested and charged with Affray. Arraignment is in Brighton Court on Monday morning.
Everett Man Seriously Injured in Hit and Run
A 68-year-old Everett man was found with leg, arm and head injuries after an early morning hit and run on Blue Hill Avenue at Winthrop Street. Police found the victim in the street unconscious after being called to the area by nearby residents who heard screeching tires. The victim was taken to an area hospital and is in critical condition. Police are looking possibly for a blue motor vehicle in connection with the hit and run. Anyone who may have seen or heard anything around 1:35am this morning is urged to call Boston Police.
Two Shootings Leave Three Injured
At 11:44pm last night, officer responded to 743 Morton Street for a person shot. Two victims were located on a porch at that address. One of the victim was a male suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the right ear and was taken to an area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. A second male victim was suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head/neck area. This victim was also taken to an area hospital and is listed in serious condition.
Earlier, at 11:26pm officers responded to 39 Annunciation Road for a person shot. There, officers located a female victim suffering from and apparent gunshot wound to the face. She was taken to an area hospital and is listed in serious condition. Both incidents remain under investigation.
