This morning around 10:50am officers in District 11 responded to 569 Washington Street (Citizen Bank) for a Robbery in progress. On arrival officers spoke with security who stated that the suspect passed a note attempting to rob the bank and fled on foot. Officers broadcasted a description of the suspect and moments later the suspect was apprehended at 68 Kenwood Street. Roger Hicks, 43, of New Hampshire was arrested and charged with Unarmed Robbery (bank), also had 3 outstanding warrants for Uttering or Publishing False Writings, Operating Motor Vehicle Without a License and Armed Robbery.
