Drug Arrest At 70 Ames StreetYesterday afternoon officers in District 3 were attempting to arrest an individual on a warrant at 70 Ames Street. Upon entering the common area of the building officers observed another suspect holding a large plastic bag containing several individual plastic bags of marijuana. Officers arrested Parish Mair, 25, of Dorchester for Possession with Intent to Distribute Class D, Possession with intent to Distribute Class D within 1000’ School Zone and Possession Of Class D. Officers recovered 16 plastic bags of marijuana and US Currency.
Two People Arrested for Armed Robbery
This morning while on patrol officers in District 11 observed one male been chased by two other males running down Adams Street towards Dorchester Avenue. Officers observed that the males had some type of weapons in there hands. The victim who was running stated to officers that ‘I was just robbed by those two guys.” Anthony Dew, 23, was charged with Armed Robbery, Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon, Resisting Arrest, Dangerous Weapons Unlawfully Carried and Possession of Class D and Winston Clarke, 35 was charged with Intent to Rob While Armed and Dangerous Weapons Unlawfully Carried both of Dorchester. Officers recovered 2 plastic bags of marijuana, a knife, box cutter, baton and the victim’s money.
One Person Arrested after Fight
This morning around 2:48am officers in District 3 responded to 16 Standish Street for a fight. On arrival officers observed a large unruly crowd exiting the basement of said address. When officers were attempting to disperse the crowd they heard a voice say, “you stabbed her.” Officers observed the victim suffering from a gash wound to her bicep area. The victim was transported to Boston Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Roberto Jeanty, 21, of Mattapan was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon. Also arrested in a separate incident at that location was Kerly Augusta, 32, of Holbrook for Keeping a Disorderly House.
