Prostitution Sting Nabs FiveBetween 4:20 and 5:40am this morning, Detectives from District 2 arrested five males for soliciting an undercover police officer for illicit sex acts. Marcus McBean, 31 of Brockton, Patrick Khoury, 24, of Somerville, Vincent Kornegay, 44, of Dorchester, Nildo Mendes, 40, of Dorchester and Arnaldo Lopes, 40 of Dorchester all were arrested in the area of 30 Blue Hill Avenue and face charges of Sex for Fee in Roxbury District Court on Tuesday.
Dorchester Stabbing Leaves Three Injured
Three males who said they had been stabbed flagged a District 11 officer down at Dorchester Avenue and Adams Street at 1:40am this morning. They told police that two Hispanic males stabbed them after a brief altercation. The suspects fled in a car on Adams Street after the stabbing. All three victims went to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
Dorchester Man Arrested with Loaded Gun
Officers in District 11 went to 36 Ridgewood Street at 10:09pm last night after they received information of a person with a gun at that location. The investigation led them to 26-year-old Manuel Nova who was found to be in possession of a loaded .45 caliber handgun. Nova was arrested and will be arraigned in Dorchester District Court on Tuesday.
Pair Arrested After Failed Robbery Attempt
Officers in East Boston responded to an Armed Robbery at the Confama Supermarket, 99 Chelsea Street at 9:12pm last night. Witnesses told the officers that a male and female, armed with a knife entered the market and tried to force their way behind the counter. Both fled the market after they were unable to get behind the counter. Officer located Lisa Grimshaw, 36 of east Boston and Mathew Keelan, 35, of Somerville outside 46 Chelsea Street and arrested them in connection with the failed robbery.
