Man Shot by Scooter ShooterWhile riding on his motor scooter near S. Charlame Court, a 20-year-old victim was shot by an unknown black male approximately 18 years of age. The suspect demanded that the victim give the scooter to him, and when the victim refused, he was shot three times, once in the leg and twice in the chest. Officers responded to Boston Medical Center where the victim transported himself. He was treated for non-life threatening injuries and the investigation is ongoing.
Armed Robbery on Norwell Street
Last night at approximately 1am, officers from District 3 responded to a radio call at 21 Norwell Street for an armed robbery. The victim told police that as he was unlocking the door on Norwell Street, an unknown black man, wearing a black jacket and a black hat, forced himself into the residence. The suspect placed a gun to the victim’s head and stole money and various other items before fleeing the scene. The officers searched the general vicinity but to no avail. This incident remains under investigation.
Woman Robbed After Accepting Ride from Stranger
Officers responded to Blue Hill Avenue and Stratton Street last night at 3am for a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, the officer spoke to the victim, a 39-year-old Roxbury woman, who stated that an unknown black man offered her a ride while she was waiting for a cab. She accepted the ride and as they were commuting, the suspect pulled out a gun and robbed the victim of 10 dollars. He then made her exit his white Chevrolet Caprice and fled the scene. The victim refused medical attention.
