Daily Incidents for May 14, 2006

Armed Robbery of Taxi Driver Early this morning around 12:45am the victim walked into District 3 to report that he was robbed. The victim stated on arrival he was meet by two unknown black males who got into the back seat of the taxi minutes later one of the suspect put a gun to his neck and demanded money. The victim was robbed of his wallet and two hundred and eighty dollars. Suspect fled in unknown motor vehicle.
Warrant Arrest at Normandy Street and Stanwood Street
About 1:00am this morning officers in District 2 while on patrol in the Normandy Street area arrested Dennis Bumpass, 38, of Roxbury for an outstanding warrant for Assault and Battery.
One Person Arrested after a shooting at 400 Tremont Street
This morning about 2:36am officers in District 4 responded to a radio call for a person shot at 400 Tremont Street. On arrival officers spoke with the victim’s who stated that they were walking home from the movies when they noticed the suspect following them. The victims stated they observed the suspect pulling something out from his waist area, at that time the suspect began shooting at them. One person sustained a gun shot wound to his upper leg and was transported to Boston Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. After a brief foot chase officers apprehended Luis Parrilla, 32, of Roxbury and charged him with unlawful possession of firearm, unlawful possession of ammo, 2 counts of assault with intent to murder, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon and three counts of Assault and Battery On A Police Officer. A firearm was recovered from the suspect.
