Early this morning at about 12:15am officers from District 11 and District 3 responded to the Carney Hospital for a report of a person stabbed. On arrival officers were informed that the victim who self applied himself to the hospital was suffering from stab wounds. A crime scene was located at the corner of School Street and Champlain Circle in Dorchester. The victim, Marcus Heard, 32, of Roxbury was treated in the Emergency Room and later pronounced dead.Boston Police Homicide and District 3 Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances around this death.
