Parking Lot Party Leads to Three ArrestsEarly Thursday Morning, officers responded to a radio call for several youths drinking and throwing rocks at passing cars in a parking lot on Main Street in Charlestown. Upon arrival, officers observed a group of approximately 25 to 30 individuals drinking. The group dispersed and fled when the officers arrived but they were able to apprehend three suspects who were seen throwing empty beer cans onto the ground. The three suspects, including two Charlestown residents, were arrested and charged with Drinking in Public and Trespassing.
Woman Bit By Interfering With Canine Scuffle
Last night at approximately 7:30pm, officers responded to Concord Square in the South End for a dog bite. When officers arrived, they spoke to the victim, a 46-year-old Boston woman, who stated she was walking her dog on the sidewalk when two Pitt Bulls approached her and began attacking her dog. She was trying to free her dog when her finger was severed. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment and Animal Control Officers took the Pitt Bulls into custody.
Can You Hear Me Now?
While walking home from the T station at Cedar Street in Fort Hill last night, a 29-year-old Roxbury man was robbed by three unknown black males all dressed in black. One of the suspects displayed a firearm and told the victim to give him everything he had. The three suspects stole the victim’s cell phone before they fled toward Centre Street. Officers searched the area but to no avail.
Shots Fired Graze Two Victims
Last night at 11:49pm while leaving his grandmother’s house, a bullet grazed a 19-year-old Roxbury man over his left eye. The two unknown black males shot the firearm toward him then chased him down Walden Street. The suspects fired more shots, causing a stray bullet to go through an apartment on Horan Way that was later recovered. A 17-year-old Roxbury girl was leaving a residence on Walden Street when she heard shots being fired. At that time, the girl was struck by ballistic fragments on her right leg and buttocks. Both victims were transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries. Officers collected ballistic evidence from the scene and the incident is to be further investigated.
