NEWS PAPER BOXES ON MARATHON ROUTE

The 110th B.A.A. Marathon is Monday, April 17, 2006. Construction will begin along the Marathon Route beginning on April 11, 2006. In order to facilitate the installation of crowd control fencing and ensure public safety and pedestrian access, all newspaper vending boxes must be removed from the Marathon Route prior to this date.Please make every effort to remove your vending boxes prior to April 11, 2006. They may be replaced on Thursday, April 20, 2006. Attached is a list of streets affected by this requirement.
ARLINGTON STREET:
From Newbury St. to Park Plaza
BEACON STREET:
From Chestnut Hill Avenue to Brookline town line (Ayer Rd.)
From Brookline to Commonwealth Ave.
BERKELEY STREET:
From St. James Avenue to Newbury Street.
BOYLSTON ST.: from Mass. Ave. to Arlington St.
CHESTNUT HILL AVENUE:
From Commonwealth Avenue to Brookline town line.
CLARENDON STREET:
From Commonwealth Avenue to Stanhope Street.
COMMONWEALTH AVENUE:
From Beacon Street to Gloucester Street and from Newton City Line, (Lake Street), to Chestnut Hill Avenue.
DALTON STREET:
From Belvidere Street to Boylston Street.
DARTMOUTH STREET:
From St. James Avenue to Newbury Street.
EXETER STREET:
From Commonwealth Avenue to Huntington Avenue.
FAIRFIELD STREET:
From Boylston Street to Newbury Street.
GLOUCESTER STREET:
From Commonwealth Avenue to Boylston Street.
HEREFORD STREET:
From Commonwealth Avenue to Boylston Street.
MASSACHUSETTS AVENUE:
From Beacon Street to Belvidere Street.
NEWBURY STREET: from Fairfield Street to Massachusetts Avenue.
PROVIDENCE STREET:
From Arlington Street to Berkeley Street.
