Police Arrest 35 for Public DrinkingBoston Police were out in large numbers for the marching of the 106th annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Officers patrolled the 3.7mile route and a total of 35 people were arrested for public drinking. Those arrested will be arraigned in South Boston District Court.
Police Investigate Early Morning Shooting
About 6:28 am officers from District 4 responded to 470 Massachusetts Ave. for two people shot. A male victim was pronounced dead at the scene and a female victim was taken from the scene to Boston Medical Center. Her condition remains serious. This shooting remains under investigation and addition information will follow.
What was He Thinking?
At 4:55pm yesterday, officers in District 6 responded to F Street and West Broadway on a report of a disturbance. When they arrived they observed a male standing in the street waving his arms disrupting traffic and pointing at group of New York Firefighters and New Bedford Police Officers. The Jakes and Cops told the Boston officers that the man in the street threw a garbage can at them as they walked past. Ronald King, 18 of Dorchester was placed under arrest for being a disorderly person.
