Four Arrested in Charlestown After Drug Investigation

As a result of a drug investigation conducted by members of the Area A-1 Drug Control Unit, and Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, a search warrant was obtained from the Charlestown District Court for an address on Monument Square. Prior to executing the warrant, officers located Timothy Brennan, 23, of Charlestown and Joseph Roche, 24, of Charlestown walking on Bunker Hill Street and Jefferson Street. Both suspects were placed under arrest for multiple charges of Distribution of Oxycontin pills and Distribution of Class B in a School Zone. These charges stem from the investigation when these two suspects sold drugs to agents of the Commonwealth. Both were transported to Area A and booked.Officers proceeded to 14 Monument Square where they executed the search warrant. Once in the apartment, officers seized personal papers and clothing belonging to Brennan. Officers also arrested two individuals found in the apartment on outstanding warrants. Arrested were: John Ahearn, 25, of Charlestown who was wanted in Chelsea District Court for Shoplifting, and Daniel Devlin, 23, of Charlestown who was wanted out of Cambridge Court for Shoplifting.
All four will be arraigned today in the Charlestown Division of the Boston Municipal Court.
