Friday evening at about 8:53pm, officers from District 2 responded to Quincy and Magnolia Streets on a report of a person shot. On arrival officers observed Herberto Brito, 23, of Dorchester suffering from a gunshot wound. Boston EMS transported the victim to the Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced.Homicide detectives continue to investigate this incident.
