The Suspect Stumbled AwayA North End resident reported to police that over the past four days, an unknown person broke into her apartment on Prince Street. It appears that the suspect entered through a kitchen window. While in the apartment, the suspect removed the victim’s purse, clothes, and 10 bottles of Miller Lite. The suspect fled, stumbled away in an unknown direction.
Snow Blower Stolen on Clarkwood Street
After clearing his driveway on Sunday night, a 65-year-old resident of Mattapan left his $1800.00 snow blower in his driveway. Monday morning at about 9:30am, the victim discovered someone stole his snow blower from his property.
Apparently Spring is Around the Corner for this Thief
An officer from District 2 responded to Ruggles Assisted Living on Ruggles Street in Roxbury on a B&E report. On arrival, the officer discovered an unknown suspect broke into the tool shed and stole a Toro weed whacker and a Toro lawnmower. The victim reports the incident occurred between 2/11/06 and 02/13/06 during the Blizzard of 2006.
You Smoke, You Drive Stolen Car, You Lose
Monday afternoon at about 2:15pm, officers from the Youth Violence Strike Force operating an unmarked vehicle and in plain clothes, observed three individuals operating a motor vehicle on Blue Hill Ave and Quincy Street smoking marijuana next to the officers. Further investigation revealed the motor vehicle was reported stolen. Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested Kessler Morency, of Brockton, Cory Scott and Jeffery Singleton, both of Mattapan. All three suspects are 18 years old. They will be arraigned in the Roxbury District Court.
Suspect Strikes Victim with Telephone in Brighton
Officers from District 14 responded to 95 Brighton Avenue on Monday night for a report of an alarm. On arrival, the officers spoke with a victim who stated that the suspect entered the business at about 4:10pm to rent a vehicle. When the victim told the suspect that his credit card was not valid, the suspect became irate and struck the victim in the face with a telephone unit. The suspect fled the area. The victim refused medical assistance.
His Team Won the Bean Pot and He Won a Court Date
A 20-year-old Boston University student will be summoned to the Boston Municipal Court after an incident that occurred last night at the TD Bank North Garden. Security stated that the suspect jumped the rink railing, grabbed the Boston College Eagle Mascot and threw it to the ice.
Punches Fly After Orange Cones Tossed
Last night at 10:04, officers from District 6 responded to a call for a fight at 47 Old Harbor Street in South Boston. On arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated he moved an orange cone and barrel from a shoveled parking spot across from 36 Thomas Park. The suspect then punched the 41-year-old victim in the face. The victim did not require medical attention and was advised to seek complaints in South Boston District Court.
18-Year-Old Male Shot in Dorchester
This morning at 12:32 am, officers from District 3 responded to Dumas and Mountain Avenue on a report of a person shot. On arrival the officers found an 18-year-old male from Dorchester suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound. The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center where he was treated for his injury.
