I live a few blocks from Waldeck/Tonawanda Street in Dorchester, so I’m concerned to read about the firearm being recovered there. However, this raises a question for me.It says that the incident took place at 8:45 pm, but I just read it at 6:00 pm (on February 10). Did this incident actually take place yesterday, on February 9, or was it 8:45 am?
Thank you for the clarification. I hope that there will be further information if charges are pursued in the case.

Thanks very much; I look forward to your response. I now see another listing of a firearm arrest at that site in the February 11 incident listing. Was there a second incident, or was this the first incident being reported with more info.Thank you for this resource so that we can know what’s happening in our neighborhood, and for your time in clarifying the details.

There was only one incident. It occurred on 2/9/06 at 8:45 PM.The original report prepared by the officer left out an important fact and a supplement report correcting the error was completed the next day, the 10th.
So, the final report was dated 2/10, but the actual incident occurred on the 9th at 8:45 at night. (BTW, the second posting reflects additional details left out of the original report.

Thanks for following up. I noticed that the second report was more detailed, and that’s why I figured it may have been the same incident. Just wanted to clarify. It’s very sad to me that the perpetrator was only 19. I hope that funding will come through soon for jobs and youth programs so that young men feel that they have alternatives to crime!
    Thanks again for your follow-up.
